For Florida Bar Members

1. When paying your annual bar membership fees, select the option to join the Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law Section, and the additional fees will be added to your total charges. Section dues are $35 per year.

 

2. To join at some time other than when you pay your annual bar membership fees, follow the steps below:

• Log in to your Florida Bar member portal.

• In the "I Want To" box, click on the "Join A Section" option.

• Check the box next to the Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law section.

• Choose to pay by credit card or check, and complete the checkout process.

 

3. If you prefer, complete the section membership form here to join by phone or regular mail. 

Affiliate Membership for Non-Florida Bar Members

Affiliate members work in or are involved in the arts, sports, or entertainment industry, such as entertainers, artists, athletes, accountants, promoters, or agents, or law school professors, law school students, and paralegals. Affiliate members have all the privileges accorded to members of the section except the right to vote, hold office, participate in the selection of officers or members of the executive council, or advertise affiliate membership in any way. Affiliate members who are full-time law school professors of an ABA-accredited law school may serve as executive council members and officers other than chair and may participate in executive council votes during their tenure.
